Dr. Rajnish Raj

MBBS, MD (Psychiatry)

Dr. Rajnish Raj is a qualified psychiatrist with comprehensive training in clinical psychiatry and neuropsychiatric disorders. He completed his MBBS along with internship in 2021 and subsequently served at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, gaining exposure to diverse and complex clinical cases in a high-acuity academic environment.

 

He earned his MD in Psychiatry from the Government Psychiatric Diseases Hospital, Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences Kashmir (IMHANS-K), Government Medical College, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir — a Centre of Excellence under the National Mental Health Programme (Government of India). The institute is recognized for its high patient volume, structured general adult psychiatry services, specialized deaddiction centre, active consultation–liaison psychiatry unit, and advanced treatment modalities including Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) and ketamine therapy for treatment-resistant and refractory psychiatric conditions. The Child & Adolescent Psychiatry services have also collaborated with UNICEF-supported initiatives in community and developmental mental health.

 

Dr. Raj has managed a wide spectrum of psychiatric disorders across all age groups and has been actively involved in academic and research activities. He has published multiple research papers and case reports and serving as Reviewer in national and international peer-reviewed journals, with citations by other authors. He has also presented clinical cases and research work at various national and zonal conferences, reflecting his continued engagement with academic psychiatry and evidence-based practice.
